Make Up FAQs

Here are some questions Rachel get asked by Brides and Clients. If you have a question that is not covered here, please feel free to contact Rachel @

Why should I book a make-up trial before my wedding day?
Rachel would always recommend Brides to book a trial at least 2 weeks before the big day. It gives us plenty of time to discuss what you would like for the day and for you to get an idea of what the make-up will look like. Rachel will help you choose the look you want to achieve for your day.

What products do you use?
Rachel uses a wide range of products, from Inglot, MAC, Makeup for ever, Bobby Brown and Irish Make-up brand Fuschia.

Will my make up last all day?
The make-up applied is designed to last the day. Rachel always recommends that your bridesmaid carry a translucent powder and some lipstick/ lip gloss for any touch-ups you require.

Do you apply false eye lashes?
Rachel applies both individual and strip eyelashes. It can make a huge difference to your look on your wedding day/night out. False eyelashes can really open up your eyes. This is something we can discuss at your trial.

Will you come to my home?
Rachel will travel to your home. This means that you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere on the morning of your wedding while you and your wedding party get pampered.

Do you charge extra for mileage?
All locations in Wicklow and South Dublin are included in the cost. An extra charge of €10 will be applied for locations further away. Really long distances will incur extra fees. Please contact Rachel for more information.

Do offer Make Up lessons?
Yes, Rachel will take you through your skin care regime, advise you on the products to use. Take you step by step through applying beautiful daytime look and will complete the lesson with a fabulous night time look. Rachel can also help you put together your make up bag.

Do you provide any other beauty treatments?
Yes please see the Make and Beauty Page.
